Managing Director Tim Ferris has over 35 years’ experience in the industry and has been a prominent figure in the local property market throughout his career, providing him with unrivalled knowledge.

In his free time Tim is passionate about his small-holding, keeping sheep, pigs, chickens and most recently two calves. The head of a large family, Tim is a passionate family man. Tim also has a long-standing association with the Bearsted Round Table where he is involved in supporting the local community through a variety of fundraising activities.

Helen has been working for Ferris & Co for 32 years and is the turn to authority in the office for all things relating to conveyancing. Over the years, literally millions of pounds worth of property has been sold by her. Known for her calming influence on the office, Helen is a true stalwart of Ferris & Co. Helen enjoys family holidays with her sons and grandchildren who span two continents, a true family woman.

Moira has worked for Ferris & Co for over 25 years and has retired once and then decided to join us again. Her experience spans over both the sales and lettings teams and is known for her diligent work ethic. Moira enjoys an outdoors life, in particular walking her dogs Angus and Fraser with her friends. Moira also loves to read, especially crime novels. Like many members of our team Moira is also a local of the Penenden Heath area.

Jack is one of the newest members of the team, joining in July 2020 after graduating with first-class honours from the University of Exeter. Jack also has experience in data analytics and is most often found conducting viewings and negotiating sales. In his free time Jack enjoys following the NBA and his lifelong football team Arsenal.

Mathias is one of our part-time team members, joining the company in July 2020 after graduating from the University of Reading with a degree in History. Mathias is currently undertaking a conversion into Law and is hoping to extend his interest in property into the legal industry. When not studying or conducting viewings, Mathias enjoys getting out and about to explore different parts of the country, although with the loom of the current pandemic he now often finds himself tucked up with a glass of red and fancies himself quite the film critic.

Justine has worked for Ferris & Co for 17 years and has a wealth of experience of the lettings market and is excellent leader who is revered by her team and landlords alike. Justine conducts letting valuations, instructs properties on the market and provides her clients with expert advice.

Justine grew up in Bearsted, and her grandfather was president of Bearsted Football club. She has fond memories of keeping score for Bearsted Cricket club as a youngster and watching her brother as they played matches on the Green. Today, Justine is also a proud mother of her two children.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts and eating out.

Becky graduated from Chichester University in 2018 with degree in Philosophy. Since graduating she has worked at Maidstone County Court in the admin team, followed by a period in insurance dealing with household and motor quotes – liaising with brokers. In Becky’s free time she is an avid cinema goer and a fan of the theatre in particular musicals. We are all very excited to have Becky join the team as she undertakes her training.

Property Maintenance and Inspections

Jonathan has been working on a freelance basis with Ferris & Co for the past 5 years and has now become a permanent member of the lettings team. He is an experienced Inventory Clerk, compiling inventory, check out and check in reports, whilst also carrying out mid-term inspections at all properties managed by Ferris & Co. Jonathan’s previous experience was within the Banking industry for over 20 years. Jonathan enjoys the theatre, music, holidays and keeping fit.
